I think you need to keep the lines defining your facial expressions a lot more clean and straightforward---save stuff like wrinkles, bumps, hard shapes, etc. for those extreme cases when you're having the character put extra effort into the expression (these shapes call attention to that effort).

In her sneak up I think you can cut this frame---it's too extreme and it's unnecessary.
